HEALTH CARE YOUTH VOLUNTEER MEMORIAL BURSARY

Conditions
♦ Awarded to a student graduating from S.D. #79 (Cowichan Valley) and who is proceeding to a postsecondary
institution in the field of HEALTH CARE (medical field, dentistry, veterinarian, etc.)
♦ The applicant must have completed a minimum of 100 hours of volunteer work as a Health Care
Youth Volunteer and must have experience at both Cowichan District Hospital and Cairnsmore Place.
♦ The bursary to be paid to the institution upon proof of acceptance at the chosen institution.- 25 –
♦ The successful candidate must make use of the bursary within the calendar year of receiving the
award.
FOUR BURSARIES @ $1,000 EACH
